Summer Fun

Aren't summer days the best? We are blessed to have a large yard and big trees. The kids enjoy climbing and jumping out of them. Here are Joe and his best friend Brian Mahony from Az. It
was so much fun to have him visit for a while. When you don't get time with your friends it is almost painful when the reunion happens because you are reminded of the bonds that you once had.

Here is Joe with our dog Cooper. They are best friends. They love to go on walks and Cooper rides along when joe rides his bike. Theylook so happy together--don't they?!

Once upon a time there was a little girl that had a dream.

Her dream was to one day visit France. As her childhood drew to an end and she knew that she would be embarking on a new adventure in her life, she found out that her dream would be coming true. As a graduation gift from her parents, she was told that her trip to France was going to be a reality. They went together and had the most marvelous time sight seeing and taking in the french culture. Tea at 2 o'clock and eating at quaint pastry shops were some of the high lights of the trip. Wandering through old castles and seeing art work at the Louvre made the days go by too quickly.

I was blessed to have a dream come true.

Fish Lake

Do you ever get to experience a little piece of heaven? Almost every year, Rob's family gets together and we all travel down to south east Utah. There is the most beautiful lake down there in Fish Lake National Forest.

We had an absolutly phenonimal time enjoying the fantastic weather and the beautiful lake. We all had the opprotunity to troll for fish. Some of us caught Rainbow Trout and others caught Splake. We even saw a few German Browns!

Look at my beautiful children. Some of you might be a little confused at the third boy in the picture but it is none other than Brian Mahony. He was my adoptive son (not quite) while we lived in Gilbert, Az. for two years. It was so good to have the whole family back together again. We miss him!

This is real beauty. The kind that sometimes you only get to read about in books but here at Fish Lake you can actually experience it. The people in the boat are Jerry and Tinisha, Kaylee and Duncan. Jerry is Rob's younger brother and they are so fun to hang out with!

As you can see here we all had a turn catching some great fish. We like to troll using none other than Jensen Pop Gear and power bait. I did end up with the biggest fish of the trip and I enjoyed every bite!!!

Summer Time

So, we have recently returned from our family trip to Sunny California where we enjoyed many days and nights in the warm summer sun. We ate great food, shared great times and played fun games. The best part of this was the visit I received from the newest addition of my family-- my newest sister Karalea. I miss her terribly and waited anxiously for her arrival, enjoyed every moment of our time together and was saddened when she drove away. We had fun catching fish in the surf, playing in the surf and enjoying surf and turf and Joe's Crab Shack. As you might tell, my beautiful boys slept most of the way which was fortunate for me but they were well behaved the entier time we were away. More to come...
